THE BLACKSMITH’S REBELLION, an epic fantasy where apprentice blacksmith Ari discovers a long-buried history, putting him on a path where he must choose between loyalty to the illegitimate king he’s always known and fighting to restore to power those rightfully called by The One True King.
The pitch
Ari thought his story was all but set in Blistrar stone, but his father’s death destroyed the foundation it was built on. After inexplicably winning a duel he shouldn’t have, Ari finds himself quickly rising in status and wondering why. Forces, both hidden and seen, begin tugging at Ari, and soon he discovers a forgotten history and a people who follow it. Accepting their story will cost Ari his newfound title and wealth. His best friend. His life. But turning back and returning to the blacksmith’s forge would sentence all Carnin to everlasting death.
